Dufftown has an unique opportunity for a Visitor Commercial Leader,  with experience in running a successful Luxury retail environment, to join their Team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Site Leader, the successful candidate will  lead and champion the Visitor Experience Commercial strategy for the William Grant & Sons Dufftown Site, delivering best in class brand and value enhancing visitor experience for consumers, trade customers and key influencers.

 As a vital member of the Team, you will be responsible for a number of key tasks including:

  • Lead, develop and implement the Visitor Centre Commercial Strategy for William Grant and Sons Dufftown Site, aligned and contributing to the Visitor Experience strategy and planning.
  • Review all current facilities, operations & practices and put appropriate planning, structure, processes and support systems in place to facilitate change and capitalise on current and future opportunities across all the commercial offerings with a focus on luxury, innovative experience differentiation and reflecting our brand priorities (GF/BV Retail, Food & Beverage)
  • Working with the Head of Visitor Experience and fellow Team Leaders, collectively lead the evolution of the Glenfiddich Visitor Centre specifically, from tourist attraction to best-in-class brand enhancing experience.
  • Lead the sharing of retail and visitor service best practices across WGS Visitor Centre sites and through learnings from other luxury retail, hospitality and brand experience centres of excellence.
  • Through partnerships with recognised premium brands and the development of exclusive products and outstanding customer service, deliver a world class experience aligned to the distinct brand values, including the development of experiences for HNWI/UWHNW clients
  • Develop and implement a marketing programme for the proactive promotion of WGS Visitor Centre experiences internally and externally, working with the Digital Team and GTS to develop a Relationship Marketing Strategy with a particular focus on Social Media; including data-capture opportunities on site and promotion of The Visitor Centre through social media.
  • Working with the Head of Visitor Experience and leadership team, investigate and implement recommendations for potential new visitor opportunities and revenue streams, identifying and attracting new markets and delivering a ‘holistic experience’ that transcends team boundaries.
  • Working with the VIP Hospitality, Accommodation & Estates TL, manage the large internal and internal events portfolio, including Highland Games, Brand Festivals, Spirit of Speyside etc. with a particular focus on enhancing marketing opportunities and/or commercial return.
